Dharmendra Singh Yadav (born 29 December 1972) is an Indian Boxing, boxer who won a bronze medal in 1990 Asian Championship. He received Arjuna Award for boxing in 1991. Yadav represented India 19 times in international events from 1989 to 1994. He won three silver and seven bronze medals. He won a bronze medal at the 1990 Commonwealth Games (light flyweight division). He turned Professional boxing, professional in 1995, the first Indian boxer to do so. Yadav competed in the flyweight division at the 1992 Summer Olympics. He was defeated in the first round by Hungary's István Kovács (boxer), István Kovács. He finished in 17th place. The York Hall, officially known as York Hall Leisure Centre, is a multi-purpose indoor arena and leisure centre in Bethnal Green, London. A points decision is a winning criterion in several full-contact combat sports, such as boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai, mixed martial arts and other sports involving striking. Unlike normal decisions where there are three judges who agree on which fighter won the match, the fight is scored by the referee, who determines who wins the bout. István Kovács (born August 17, 1970), nicknamed Ko-Ko or sometimes The Cobra, is a Hungarian people, Hungarian retired world champion boxing, boxer. He is a Secretary General of the International Boxing Association, AIBA.
