Dhanmalhi
''Dhanmalhi'' is a 1993 Maldivian teledrama directed by Reeko Moosa Manik. Produced and distributed by Television Maldives, the film stars Reeko Moosa Manik, Lilian Saeed and Suneetha in pivotal roles. The film shows the conflict between a husband and wife and the progression of the husband due to his wife's behavior. Premise Idhrees (Reeko Moosa Manik) is married to an indolent, deceptive and manipulative wife, Faree (Lilian Saeed) who does no work other than sleep and watching television citing her ill-health. Idhrees, who is treated as a servant to Faree gets his final warning at his job for being continuously late to work. Hussainfulhu (Koyya Hassan Manik), a well wisher for Idhrees, advises him to take control of his life. Meanwhile, a colleague of Idhrees, Hafsa (Suneetha) shows interest towards him while his wife suspects him having an affair with another woman. Moosa Manik also known as Reeko Moosa Manik is a Maldivian former actor and politician know as hanburu. He also served as former deputy speaker of the Maldives Parliament, and former chairman of the Maldivian Democratic Party. He was a member of parliament Hulhu Henveiru constituency. Koyya Hassan Manik
Hassan Ali Manik professionally known as Koyya Hassan Manik (25 April 1953 – 20 February 2021) was a Maldivian film actor and producer. Career 1989–2008: Early releases and first lead role with ''Ajaaib'' In 1989, Najuma offered him to feature in ''Hama Mihaaru'', one of the programs aired in the Dhivehi Rajjeyge Adu, where he took part in a total of eighteen episodes in a span of three years. During this period, a friend proffered him to star in the television comedy show; ''Bakhabaru'' alongside Fibo Ahmed Manik and continued to star in the show as part of the main cast. The Mohamed Hilmy and Ali Waheed directed film, '' Ihsaas'' was released in 1993 in which Manik starred as a guardian to an orphan boy who is being psychologically disturbed following a false arrest. Arifa Ibrahim
Arifa Ibrahim (born 22 June 1955) is a Maldivian actress, producer, director and writer. Early life Daughter of late Ibrahim Fulhu and late Fathma Fulhu, Arifa Ibrahim was born on 22 June 1955. She got married at the age of fourteen and is blessed with five daughters and one son. During her early life, Arifa was famous for stencil designing. Ibrahim Amir
Ibrahim Amir (born 9 December 1967) is a Maldivian singer. Early life and career Ibrahim Amir was born and raised in the "Amir family" where several artists including Ahmed Amir and Fazeela Amir were brought up and "ruled" the local music industry. His talent was first recognized with the album ''Hiyy Fahi'' (1993) followed by several other duets with his sister Fazeela Amir. His songs from the album ''Fashuvi'' and ''Sameydhaan'' were particularly praised by music critics. Throughout his career, Amir recorded maximum songs with Fazeela and was more involved with the studio albums than film songs. Fazeela Amir (16 December 1969) is a Maldivian singer. Early life Fazeela Amir was born and raised in the "Amir family" where several artists including Ahmed Amir and Ibrahim Amir were brought up and "ruled" the music industry. She made her career debut with the album ''Hiyy Fahi'' where she lent her voice for eleven songs in the album. This resulted in her receiving several offers from music directors and producers to sing for their films and albums before making her breakthrough with her "high-pitched" rendition of the songs in the 1994 released film ''Dheriyaa''. Her duets with Ali Rameez are well noted in the industry and maximum duets with Rameez are recorded by Amir. In 1998, the Government of Maldives honoured her with the National Award of Recognition.
