Dezső Novák
Dezső Novák (3 February 1939 – 26 February 2014) was a Hungarian footballer who played as a defender. During his club career he played for Ferencvárosi TC. For the Hungary national team, he participated in the 1964 European Nations' Cup. In three Olympic Games, he also won two gold medals in 1964 and 1968, and a bronze medal in 1960. Later he served as the head coach of Ferencvaros in 1973. In 2004, he received the Hungarian Order of Merit Officer's Cross. Ják
Ják is a village in Vas County, on the western boundary of Hungary. Church of Saint George The parish church of Ják is the best preserved Romanesque church in Hungary. It was originally built as the church of a Benedictine monastery. The village church at that time was a rotunda in front of the façade of the main doorway of Ják church. Both outside and inside the church is adorned with rich sculptures. The 3 naves and 3 apses are formed in a basilica structure. Columnar capitals are sculptured by plant and some animal ornamentation. The rotunda has been built with 4 apses and 2 floors. The 1960 Summer Olympics (), officially known as the Games of the XVII Olympiad () and commonly known as Rome 1960 (), were an international multi-sport event held from 25 August to 11 September 1960 in Rome, Italy. Order Of Merit Of The Republic Of Hungary
The Hungarian Order of Merit () is the fourth highest Order (honour), State Order of Hungary. Founded in 1991, the order is a revival of an original order founded in 1946 and abolished in 1949. Its origins, however, can be traced to the Order of Merit of the Kingdom of Hungary which existed from 1922 until 1946. In 2011 its official name changed from Order of Merit of the Republic of Hungary to Hungarian Order of Merit in accordance with the new Hungarian Constitution. The football tournament at the 1960 Summer Olympics was held from 26 August to 10 September in 1960 throughout Italy. The tournament featured 16 men's national teams from four continental confederations. Starting with this edition, the competition's format was changed: rather than a knockout tournament like in the previous Olympic Games, the 16 teams were drawn into four groups of four and each group played a round-robin tournament, in a similar format to that instituted in the 1958 FIFA World Cup, which persists to the present day.
