Dez Caught It
Dez Caught It (also known as the No-Catch Game) was a National Football League (NFL) Divisional Playoff game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers on January 11, 2015. The game, which was played at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, gained notoriety after a play in which Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant attempted to catch a pass from quarterback Tony Romo in the closing minutes of the fourth quarter. The pass was initially ruled a catch before controversially being overturned after officials determined Bryant did not complete the process of a catch while he was lunging towards the end zone. The Packers would get the ball on the turnover on downs and run out the rest of the game clock. The 2014 season was the Dallas Cowboys' 55th in the National Football League (NFL), their sixth playing home games at AT&T Stadium and their fourth full season under head coach Jason Garrett. Tony Romo
Antonio Ramiro Romo (born April 21, 1980) is an American former professional football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 13 seasons with the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football for the Eastern Illinois Panthers, where he made an Ohio Valley Conference championship appearance in 2001 and won the Walter Payton Award the following year. Romo signed with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 2003. Beginning his career in a backup role, Romo served as the Cowboys' primary starter from 2006 to 2015. The National Football Conference – Northern Division or NFC North is one of the four divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). Brandon Dennard Pettigrew (born February 23, 1985) is an American former professional football player who was a tight end in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. He was selected in the first round (20th overall) of the 2009 NFL draft by the Detroit Lions, and spent his entire 8-year career with the team. Pass Interference
In American and Canadian football, pass interference (PI) is a foul that occurs when a player interferes with an eligible receiver's ability to make a fair attempt to catch a forward pass. Pass interference may include tripping, pushing, pulling, or cutting in front of the receiver, covering the receiver's face, or pulling on the receiver's hands or arms. It does not include catching or batting the ball before it reaches the receiver.
