Dewa (band)
Dewa 19 (pronounced in Indonesian as ''Dewa Sembilan Belas'') is an Indonesian Rock music, rock band from Surabaya, East Java, led by singer-songwriter Ahmad Dhani. Along with God Bless (band), God Bless and Slank, they are dubbed as one of the greatest rock bands in the history of Indonesian popular music. The band was formed in 1986. There have been a number of changes to the lineup that ended in their disbandment in 2011, but then they regrouped in 2019 for comeback reunion shows. The current line-up consists of Ahmad Dhani, Andra Ramadhan (both as the remaining original members), Yuke Sampurna and Agung Yudha. Having no lead vocalists in the current line-up, starting in 2019, the band's shows continuously feature guest vocalists Ari Lasso, Once Mekel (both were previously Dewa 19's members as lead vocalists), Virzha, and Marcello Tahitoe. ''Indonesian Idol'' is an Indonesian reality television singing competition created by Simon Fuller and produced by RCTI Production Team and FremantleMedia Asia. ''Republik Cinta'' is the 8th studio album by Dewa 19 and was released in January 2006 in Indonesia; the title translates into "Republic of Love". The album reached #1 on the Indonesian album charts and has since been released in other Asian territories including Malaysia and a Chinese release via EMI in Hong Kong. This was Dewa's first album for EMI Indonesia after parting company with their long-term label Aquarius Musikindo in 2005. The album spawned four radio hit singles, "Laskar Cinta", "Selimut Hati","Larut", and "Sedang Ingin Bercinta". Elfonda Mekel, (born 21 May 1970), better known as Once Mekel (, pronounced ''Ohn-chè''), is an Indonesian singer, researcher, music industry observer, entrepreneur, and politician. He started his career as a singer after completing high school, by becoming a semi-professional singer. After being part of the research management field and achieving success as a vocalist, Once was invited to join Dewa 19, which had renamed itself Dewa, replacing Ari Lasso as the lead vocalist after the completion of the Pandawa Lima album (1997) and the single Elang (1999). Bebi Romeo
H. Virdy Megananda (born 6 September 1974), known popularly as Bebi Romeo, is an Indonesian musician. He began his career in the mid-1990s as the vocalist of band Bima. Before their disbandment, the band released their only studio album, ''Sebuah Awal'' (1996), which featured single "Dua Hati". Bebi achieved his prominence in music scene after forming band Romeo in 1998. The band's most popular hit "Bunga Terakhir" (1999) was composed by Bebi himself. NTRL (pronounced "Neutral", formerly Netral) is an Indonesian rock band formed in 1992 in Jakarta. The band has released 13 albums. Its current members are Bagus (vocals and bass), Eno (drums) and Coki (guitar). Career In November 1992, Bagus formed Netral along with Bimo and Miten. The band released a self-titled album in 1995, with punk sounds dominant. It released another album, ''Wa.. Lah'', in 1995. The lyrics are random and simple, combined with a "naughty" rock style.
