Devyani Saltzman is a Canadian writer, curator and multidisciplinary cultural programmer. She works as the Principal of her own independent cultural strategy firm and previously held senior positions in three of Canada's major cultural institutions, most recently as the Director of Public Programming at the Art Gallery of Ontario. Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, formerly known as The Banff Centre (and previously The Banff Centre for Continuing Education), located in Banff, Alberta, was established in 1933 as the Banff School of Drama. Luminato Festival, Toronto's International Festival of Arts and Ideas, is an annual celebration of the arts in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, launched in 2007. In its first decade, Luminato presented over 3,000 performances featuring 11,000 artists from over 40 countries and has commissioned over 80 new works of art.
