Devinder Sehrawat
Devinder Kumar Sehrawat is a retired colonel of the Indian Armed Forces and a politician, member of the Indian National Congress. He is a farmer leader from rural belt of Delhi. He was a member of the Sixth Legislative Assembly of Delhi, he represented the Bijwasan constituency of New Delhi. Early life and education Devinder Kumar Sehrawat was born in Mahipalpur, Delhi in a jat family. He attended The Air Force School, Subroto Park, Delhi, as a boarding student. He earned a Post Graduate Diploma from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad, a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Madras University, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from Jawaharlal Nehru University through the National Defence Academy (NDA). The 2010 Commonwealth Games, officially known as the XIX Commonwealth Games and commonly known as Delhi 2010, were an international multi-sport event for the members of the Commonwealth that was held in Delhi, India, from 3 to 14 October 2010. A total of 4352 athletes from 71 Commonwealth nations and dependencies competed in 21 sports and 272 events, making it the largest Commonwealth Games to date.
