Devin Dodson
Devin L. Dodson (born March 15, 1999) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 7 Ford Fusion for JP Racing. Racing career Dodson started his career in go-kart racing before moving up to dirt modifieds at the age of 14. A few years later, he stopped racing around his Maryland home and traveled to North Carolina and South Carolina to compete in late model racing. While racing late models, Dodson signed a driver development deal with Empire Racing Group, a satellite team of Richard Petty Motorsports. In 2018, Dodson stepped up to regional touring series, competing with Jefferson Pitts Racing for a limited schedule in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West. The choice to travel to the West Coast and race with JPR was based on the value per start with Dodson not having major corporate backing. Evergreen Speedway
Evergreen Speedway is an automobile racetrack located within the confines of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington. The stadium can accommodate up to 7500 spectators in the covered grandstand and an additional 7500 in the uncovered modular grandstands. The layout of the track is unique in that it incorporates an oversized 5/8-mile paved outer oval, a 3/8-mile paved inner oval, a 1/5-mile paved inner oval, a 1/8-mile dragstrip, and the #2 ranked figure-eight track in the United States. The track is the only sanctioned NASCAR track in Washington State. Evergreen Speedway hosts Formula D the third weekend in July every year. The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series is a pickup truck racing series owned and operated by the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing, and is the only series in NASCAR to race production pickup truck based stock cars. Charlotte Motor Speedway (previously known as Lowe's Motor Speedway from 1999 to 2009) is a motorsport complex located in Concord, North Carolina, outside Charlotte. The complex features a quad oval track that hosts NASCAR racing including the prestigious Coca-Cola 600 on Memorial Day weekend, and the Bank of America Roval 400. ARCA Menards Series
The ARCA Menards Series is an American stock car series, the premier division of the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA). It is considered a minor, semi-professional league of stock car racing, used as a feeder series into the three national touring series of NASCAR, and hosts events at a variety of track types including superspeedways, road courses, and dirt tracks. The series has had a longstanding relationship with NASCAR, including using former NASCAR Cup Series cars, hosting events in the same race weekend such as Daytona Speedweeks, and naming an award after NASCAR founder Bill France, Sr. However, the series was not officially affiliated with NASCAR until its buyout on April 27, 2018.
