Gorkha Dakshin Bahu
The Most Puissant Order of the Gorkha Dakshina Bahu (; Order of the Gurkha Right Arm ''or Hand'') was an order of knighthood of Nepal. It was one of the highest honors given traditionally by the king. It was awarded to both the military and civilians, including foreign nationals, for distinguished contribution to the country in the field of arts, literature, sports, science, and social service. Ramola Devi Shah, better known as Chhinnalata (; 1923–2000) was a Nepalese writer and poet. Biography Ramola Devi was born on 15 July 1923 in Thu, Bagh Bazar, Kathmandu, Nepal. She was married to Prince Basundhara. In 1983, she established a literary trust, Chhinnalata Geet Puraskar Guthi (CGPG). Chhinnalata died from paralysis on 4 December 2000 at Bir Hospital. This song was intended to promote an environmental message by breaking the Guinness World Records for "Most Vocal Solos in a Song Recording", which it successfully did. The recording sessions were inaugurated by Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Oli at 8 am and continued until 6 pm.
