Deutsche Heidnische Front (DHF or ''German Heathens' Front'') was a far right Neo-Nazi group created in 1998 as the German section of the Heathen Front. It was formed by avowed neo-Nazi Hendrik Möbus. It has been inactive since 2005. Development The group was established in 1998 in an attempt to forge close links between the Pagan and far right nationalist scenes in Germany. It was the German branch of the ''Allgermanische Heidnische Front'', an international Odalist movement. The group, which recruited widely in the skinhead and heavy metal scenes, set up groups across Germany, although its main area of activity was Thuringia. The Thule Society (; ), originally the ('Study Group for Germanic Antiquity'), was a German occultist and group founded in Munich shortly after World War I, named after a mythical northern country in Greek legend. The ''Schutzstaffel'' (; ; SS; also stylised with SS runes as ''ᛋᛋ'') was a major paramilitary organisation under Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in Nazi Germany, and later throughout German-occupied Europe during World War II. The Kyffhäuserkreis is a district in the northern part of Thuringia, Germany. Neighboring districts are the districts Mansfeld-Südharz, Saalekreis and Burgenlandkreis in Saxony-Anhalt, and the districts Sömmerda, Unstrut-Hainich-Kreis and Eichsfeld. David Eden Lane (November 2, 1938 – May 28, 2007) was an American Domestic terrorism, domestic terrorist, white separatist, Neo-Nazism, neo-Nazi, and a convicted felon. A member of the domestic terrorism, terrorist organization The Order (white supremacist group), The Order, he was convicted and sentenced to 190 years in prison for racketeering, Conspiracy (crime), conspiracy, and the violation of the civil rights of Alan Berg, a Jewish radio talk show host, who prosecutors claimed was murdered by a member of the group via a drive-by shooting with Lane acting as driver, though they were unsuccessful in getting murder convictions.
