Dettinger
Dettinger is a German record producer signed to Germany's Cologne based Kompakt label. His releases include 1998's Blond 12", 1999's album Intershop (the first single-artist LP on Kompakt), Puma 12" and Totentanz 12", and 2000's album Oasis. Dettinger's tracks have appeared on a range on compilations, including Kompakt's Total and Pop Ambient series and Mille Plateaux's Click + Cuts series. Dettinger has produced remixes for artists such as Pet Shop Boys, Closer Musik and Jürgen Paape. He has also collaborated with Frank Rumpelt and M.G. Bondino. Kompakt ( Labelcode: LC 12012) is a Cologne-based electronic music independent record label and vinyl/CD distributor, owned by Wolfgang Voigt, Michael Mayer and Jürgen Paape. They specialize in microhouse and minimal techno, and are known for their ''Total'' compilation series. History Kompakt originated from a techno record store that was opened in Cologne in 1993 (under the name "Delirium") by Wolfgang Voigt, Reinhard Voigt, Jörg Burger and Jürgen Paape, who were soon joined by Michael Mayer. Minimal Techno
Minimal techno is a subgenre of techno music. It is characterized by a stripped-down aesthetic that exploits the use of repetition and understated development. Tocotronic
Tocotronic is a German rock band formed in 1993. Similar to Blumfeld or Die Sterne they are considered a part of the Hamburger Schule (''Hamburg School'') movement. They are influential for bands such as Wir sind Helden. History Tocotronic were signed by L'Age D'Or, a German independent record label situated in Hamburg, in 1994 after quickly gaining popularity in the local scene. Triola
The triola ( listen) is a children's musical instrument, a hand-tuned single-tone wind harmonica. Triolas are manufactured by C. A. Seydel Söhne in Klingenthal, Germany.
