Loverboy is a Canadian Rock music, rock band formed in Calgary, Alberta in 1979. Loverboy's hit singles, particularly "Turn Me Loose (Loverboy song), Turn Me Loose" and "Working for the Weekend", have become arena rock staples and are still heard on many classic rock and classic hits radio stations across Canada and the United States. After being rejected by many American record labels, Loverboy signed with Columbia Records, Columbia/CBS Records Canada and began recording the debut album on March 20, 1980. Destruction is an annual professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event has been held since 2007 as a pay-per-view (PPV). "Destruction" is the ninth episode aired of the first series of '' UFO'' – a 1970 British television science fiction series about an alien invasion of Earth. The screenplay was written by Dennis Spooner and the director was Ken Turner. The episode was filmed between 4 and 16 June 1970 and aired on the ATV Midlands on 2 December 1970. Though shown as the ninth episode, it was actually the twentieth to have been filmed. Destruction is a German thrash metal band formed in 1982. They have been credited as one of the "Big Four" of the Teutonic thrash metal, German thrash metal scene, the others being Kreator, Sodom (band), Sodom and Tankard (band), Tankard. In addition to helping pioneer black metal, Destruction was part of the second wave of thrash metal in the mid-to-late 1980s, along with US bands Testament (band), Testament, Sacred Reich, Death Angel and Dark Angel (band), Dark Angel.
