Destination Anywhere (band)
Destination Anywhere was a German ska punk/ pop punk band from Siegen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. History The ska-punk band formed in Siegen, Germany, in 2006. Destination Anywhere consists of David Conrad (Singer), Tim Klein (Guitarist), Peter Stock (Drummer), André Rüddigkeit (Bassist), Philipp Schopp (Trumpeter), Christoph Zimmermann (Saxophonist) and Christian Jüngst (Saxophonist). Their first EP is called ''Coffee, horn & cigarettes'' and it was released in 2006, while the debut album ''Sobstuff, Tales & Anthems in 2008 and has already been downloaded 15,000 times (still available for free on their website). At their concerts were sold 5.000 copies of the album in CD format. After meeting the producer David Bonk, who worked with Panik, Nevada Tan, Aloha from Hell and LaFee, the band decided to collaborate with him and worked on new songs for their other EP ''You won't bring me down'' (2009). Rock Am Ring
The (German language, German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg. Sharing nearly identical lineups, the two festivals are usually regarded as one event. All artists perform one day at the Nürburgring and another day in Nürnberg during the three-day event. There have been minor exceptions in the past years where an artist would be announced for one of the festivals only. Siegen
Siegen () is a city in Germany, in the south Westphalian part of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is located in the district of Siegen-Wittgenstein in the Arnsberg region. Ska punk (also spelled ska-punk) is a fusion genre that mixes ska music and punk rock music together. (sometimes spelled skacore) is a subgenre of ska punk that mixes ska with hardcore punk. Early ska punk mixed both 2 tone and ska with hardcore punk. Pop punk (or punk pop) is a rock music genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop. Panik (band)
Panik is a German rock band from Neumünster, Germany, that was established in 2002 under the name Pan!k. This band consisted of David Bonk (guitar, vocals), Timo "T:Mo" Sonnenschein (rap/vocals), Jan Werner (DJ) and Max Böhlen (drums). With the addition of Frank "Franky" Ziegler (vocals), Christian Linke (bass guitar) and replacement of Max Böhlen with Juri Schewe on drums, the band changed its name to Nevada Tan in 2007 and released its first studio album Niemand Hört Dich to commercial success in Germany. Aloha from Hell was a German rock band. They won a competition in the German magazine ''Bravo''. After the win they released " Don't Gimme That." Their first album, '' No More Days to Waste,'' sold more than 200,000 copies. History Aloha from Hell was founded in 2006. Christina Klein (born 9 December 1990), better known by her stage name LaFee, is a German pop singer and television actress who has sold more than one million records worldwide. She is most famous in mainland Europe, particularly in German-speaking countries. Since 2006, LaFee released six studio albums, three of them with her band.
