Derry DeBorja
Derry deBorja is a keyboardist, songwriter, composer, and producer best known as a member of Jason Isbell's band, the 400 Unit. Biography deBorja is a Baltimore native and started his musical career in Washington, D.C. as keyboardist for the Americana band Canyon, where he met Uncle Tupelo/Son Volt founder Jay Farrar. After meeting Farrar, he joined Son Volt in 2005 and contributed to their 2007 album, ''The Search.'' deBorja joined Jason Isbell and The 400 Unit in 2007. ''Weathervanes'' is the ninth studio album by American singer-songwriter Jason Isbell, and the sixth accompanied by his backing band the 400 Unit. It was released on June 9, 2023, through Southeastern Records. The album received acclaim from critics, as well as the Grammy Award for Best Americana Album at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards. Joe Pug (born Joseph Pugliese, April 20, 1984) is an American singer-songwriter from Greenbelt, Maryland. Afie Jurvanen (born April 28, 1981), known by his stage name Bahamas, is a Canadian musician. Early life Jurvanen was born in Toronto and raised in Barrie, Ontario. ''The Nashville Sound'' is the sixth studio album by Jason Isbell, and the third credited to "Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit" (the first since ''Here We Rest'' in 2011). It was released on June 16, 2017. The album was produced by Dave Cobb, who had produced Isbell's previous two albums: '' Southeastern'' (2013) and ''Something More Than Free'' (2015). At the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, the album won the award for Best Americana Album, and the song "If We Were Vampires" won the award for Best American Roots Song. Son Volt is an American rock band formed in 1994 by Jay Farrar after the breakup of Uncle Tupelo.
