LeSourdesville Lake Amusement Park
LeSourdsville Lake Amusement Park was an amusement park located in Monroe, Ohio. Founded by Edgar Streifthau, the park originally opened in 1922 as a family picnic destination with swimming amenities. Throughout the 1940s, LeSourdsville Lake transformed into an amusement park with the addition of rides, attractions, and an arcade. The park was sold in 1961, and following heavy competition from nearby Kings Island, it was rebranded Americana Amusement Park in 1978. An electrical fire in 1990 caused over $5 million in damages and led to bankruptcy. The park continued to operate under several different owners before eventually closing in 1999. Americana briefly reopened in 2002 under the original name LeSourdsville Lake, but the effort by new owner Jerry Couch was short-lived as the park failed to turn a profit. Remaining rides and attractions were either sold or later demolished. In 2017, the city of Monroe received a portion of the land to build a city park and regional bicycle ...

The Album (Jonas Brothers Album)
''The Album'' is the sixth studio album by American pop rock band Jonas Brothers. It was released through Republic Records on May 12, 2023. The album features a sole guest appearance from Jon Bellion. Production was handled by Bellion himself, the Monsters & Strangerz, Pete Nappi, TenRoc, the Diner, Daniel Tashian, Ido Zmishlany, Johnny Simpson, and Colin Brittain. Regarded as a more mature endeavor for the band, critics noticed the adult contemporary sound of the record. The brothers conceived the album to reflect their state of mind, with lyrics about enjoying life, parenthood, and their relationships. The concept for the album was to create the "quintessential Jonas Brothers album" that would capture the 1970s sound that influenced the brothers as musical artists. The album's release was supported by three singles, " Wings", " Waffle House", and " Summer Baby". It serves as the follow-up to their previous album, ''Happiness Begins'' (2019). The video album shares the same title as the band's 1998 studio album, but contains no videos and very little from it. Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling
Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling (also known by its initials as GLOW or G.L.O.W.) is a women's professional wrestling promotion that began in 1986 (the pilot was filmed in December 1985) and has continued in various forms after it left television. Colorful characters, strong women, and over-the-top comedy sketches were integral to the series' success. Most of the performers were actresses, models, dancers or stunt women hoping to enter show business. Inception David B. McLane created the series while working as an announcer and promoter with Indianapolis-based World Wrestling Association (WWA) after seeing fans react to women's wrestling. The show runner Dick the Bruiser believed that Indianapolis audiences would not be receptive to a wrestling promotion featuring female wrestlers and dismissed the concept as an unprofitable novelty. Undeterred, McLane went to Hollywood and posted casting notices in ''The Hollywood Reporter'' and '' Variety,'' leading to over 500 women showin ...

Americana (Ray Davies Album)
''Americana'' is an album by English rock musician Ray Davies, released by Legacy Recordings in April 2017. Like Davies' 2013 book of the same name, it explores his lifelong fascination with the music and culture of the United States, and his experiences of touring and living there. The album features contributions from members of American country rock band the Jayhawks.
