Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe (born 26 August 1966) into Alhaji Abubakar Mohammed family is a Nigerian politician and medical doctor who has served as the Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, deputy governor of Kaduna State since 2019. She is the first female deputy governor of the state and was elected during the 2019 Nigerian gubernatorial elections held in March, under the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress and re-elected in 2023. 2011 Kaduna State Gubernatorial Election
The 2011 Kaduna State gubernatorial election occurred on April 28, 2011, after a two-day delay due to security concerns. Of the over five political parties contesting, just two were formidable, the PDP and newly formed CPC. Mukhtar Ramalan Yero (born 1 May 1968) is a Nigerian politician who served as the governor of Kaduna State from 2012 to 2015, following the death of Patrick Yakowa in a helicopter crash. Mohammed Namadi Sambo (born 2 August 1954) is a Nigerian politician who was Vice President of Nigeria from 19 May 2010 to 29 May 2015. The 2007 Kaduna State gubernatorial election occurred on April 14, 2007. Patrick Ibrahim Yakowa (1 December 1948 – 15 December 2012) was a Nigerian politician. He was appointed Deputy Governor of Kaduna State, Nigeria in July 2005, and returned as Deputy Governor in the April 2007 elections.
