Depressive Age
Depressive Age is a German thrash metal band from Berlin. The group released four studio albums throughout the 1990s before renaming themselves D-Age and disbanding in 2001. History Depressive Age was founded under the name Blackout in 1984, with the band releasing one demo before changing their name to Depressive Age in 1988. The group released their first studio album, ''First Depression'', in 1992. ''First Depression'' was followed by the albums ''Lying in Wait'' (1993), ''Symbols for the Blue Times'' (1994) and ''Electric Scum'' in 1996, the latter two of which showcased less thrash metal influences and included forays into alternative rock. Thrash Metal

Progressive Metal
Progressive metal (sometimes shortened to prog metal) is a broad fusion music genre melding heavy metal and progressive rock, combining the loud "aggression" and amplified guitar-driven sound of the former with the more experimental, cerebral or "pseudo-classical" compositions of the latter. One of these experimental examples introduced to modern metal was djent. The music typically showcases the extreme technical proficiency of the performers and usually uses unorthodox harmonies as well as complex rhythms with frequent meter changes and intense syncopation. GUN Records (''Great Unlimited Noises'') was a record label located in Bochum, Germany, founded in 1992 by Bogdan Kopec (Drakkar Entertainment, DRAKKAR Promotion Musikverlag GmbH) and Wolfgang Funk. Alternative Rock
Alternative rock (also known as alternative music, alt-rock or simply alternative) is a category of rock music that evolved from the independent music underground of the 1970s. Bronski Beat
Bronski Beat were a British synthpop trio which achieved success in the mid-1980s, particularly with the 1984 chart hit " Smalltown Boy", from their debut album '' The Age of Consent''. "Smalltown Boy" was their only US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 single. All members of the band were openly gay and their songs reflected this, often containing political commentary on gay-related issues. The initial line-up, which recorded the majority of the band's hits, consisted of Jimmy Somerville (vocals), Steve Bronski (born Steven William Forrest, keyboards, percussion) and Larry Steinbachek (keyboards, percussion).
