Deon (footballer)
José Aldean Oliveira de Jesus (6 June 1987 – 9 August 2023), better known as Deon, was a Brazilian professional footballer who played as a Forward (association football), forward. Career Deon played for EC Bahia between 2005 and 2008, playing 11 matches and scoring 4 goals during the period. He subsequently played for Fluminense de Feira and Atlético de Alagoinhas. He arrived at Associação Desportiva Bahia de Feira, Bahia de Feira in 2018, where he played 123 matches and scored 39 goals. He was runner-up in Bahia de Feira in 2019 and 2021 editions of Campeonato Baiano. Death On 9 August 2023, Deon fell ill during a training session held at Arena Cajueiro, Feira de Santana. Deon Swiggs
Deon William Swiggs (born 6 September 1986) is a New Zealand politician serving as the Environment Canterbury Councillor representing the Christchurch West/Ōpuna Regional Constituency. He previously served as the Christchurch City Councillor representing the Central ward from 2016 to 2019. Prior to Swiggs being elected, he was most well known for his participation in Rebuild Christchurch, an organisation founded after the 2010 Canterbury earthquake. Early life and up to 2019 Swiggs was born in Nelson, New Zealand, and is the oldest of three siblings. Until Swiggs was 5, he was raised at Parihaka, Parihaka Pa as a Christian. Swiggs was educated at Marlborough Boys' College where he was a sixth form prefect. After graduating in 2004, Swiggs joined the Royal New Zealand Navy in 2005 as a navigation officer. A human rights defender or human rights activist is a person who, individually or with others, acts to promote or protect human rights. They can be journalists, environmentalists, whistleblowers, trade unionists, lawyers, teachers, housing campaigners, participants in direct action, or just individuals acting alone. Deon Yelder (born March 6, 1995) is an American professional football tight end who is a free agent. He played college football at Western Kentucky and signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2018.
