Denys Shmyhal
Denys Anatoliiovych Shmyhal (, ; born 15 October 1975) is a Ukrainian politician and entrepreneur who has served as the 18th and current prime minister of Ukraine since 2020. Before his appointment as prime minister, Shmyhal was the governor of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast and an acting vice prime minister in the Honcharuk Government. As Prime Minister, Shmyhal has been in charge of handling the response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ukraine and conducting the defense of Ukraine during the 2022 Russian invasion. As of 2025, he is the longest serving prime minister in Ukrainian history. Early life Shmyhal's parents are Anatoly Ivanovich and Irina Feliksovna. The Shmyhal government () is the current government of Ukraine, formed on 4 March 2020 and led by Denys Shmyhal, who was previously serving as Deputy Prime Minister in the Honcharuk government, and the Governor of Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. Shmyhal is the longest serving Prime Minister in Ukrainian history History President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's first government was the Honcharuk Government, formed after the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election. However, Zelenskyy was dissatisfied with the government due to high ministerial salaries and poor performance. On 3 March 2020, Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk tendered his resignation, and by law this triggered the automatic resignation of the Honcharuk Government. In his 4 March 2020 address to the parliament, Zelenskyy expressed his hope for a stronger government, and that day Honcharuk was dismissed by the Verkhovna Rada (Ukraine's parliament) and Denys Shmyhal was appointed prime minister.

Oleh Mykolayovych Nemchinov (; born 1 May 1977 in Lviv) is a Ukrainian civil servant and politician. On 4 March 2020, he was appointed as the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers. Biography Nemchinov studied at the University of Lviv (1999). He graduated from the Ternopil National Economic University (2003). Candidate of Sciences in Public Administration. From 1999 to 2002, he worked at the Lviv City Council. From 2009 to 2010, he also worked in the Lviv Regional State Administration.
