Dennis Collander
Kjell Dennis Collander (born 9 May 2002) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Allsvenskan club Hammarby IF. Early life Collander was born in Västerås and started to play football as a youngster with local club Barkarö SK. At age 11, he moved to Skiljebo SK. Club career Skiljebo SK On 14 February 2018, aged 15, Collander was promoted to Skiljebo's senior team, competing in Division 2, Sweden's fourth tier. He played 12 league games throughout the season, scoring once, helping the club to finish 2nd in the table. Örebro SK On 17 January 2019, Collander transferred to Örebro SK in Allsvenskan, the domestic top tier. He signed a three-year deal with the club, after a successful trial. He spent most of the season sidelined, nursing an abdominal muscle injury. The 2023 Allsvenskan is the 99th season of Sweden's top-level football league, Allsvenskan. A total of 16 teams participated. BK Häcken were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season. IF Brommapojkarna and Halmstads BK were promoted after finishing first and second in the 2022 Superettan, while Varbergs BoIS staved off relegation by defeating third placed Östers IF. Ettan Fotboll, or simply Ettan ( en, the one), which also is its common name in everyday speech, is the third level in the Swedish football league system and consists of 32 Swedish football teams. It was formerly simply known as ''Division 1''. Division 1 was the second tier from 1987 to 1999, but was replaced by Superettan in 2000. Malmö FF were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season, and they defended the championship in the 30th and final round on 4 December 2021 and secured their 22nd Swedish championship title by playing a scoreless tie at home against Halmstads BK, resulting in Malmö FF winning the title on better goal difference than the runner-up (AIK). Djurgårdens IF were the defending champions after winning the title in the previous season. The 2020 Allsvenskan season was scheduled to begin on 4 April and end on 8 November 2020 (not including play-off matches), but due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Sweden the opening games of the season were delayed. On 4 June 2020, the Swedish government and the Public Health Agency of Sweden announced that the travel restrictions within Sweden were lifted.
