Denise Garlick
Denise C. Garlick (née Collatos) is an American state legislature (United States), state legislator representing the 13th Norfolk District in the Massachusetts House of Representatives. Garlick was graduated from Dedham High School in 1972. Garlick attended the New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing and Fitchburg State College BSN. She is a Needham, Massachusetts, Needham resident and a member of the Democratic Party (United States), Democratic Party. In 2017, she was honored as the Massachusetts Developmental Disabilities Council's Legislator of the Year. She is also a registered nurse. In Needham she served as the vice chair of the Board of Selectmen, co-chair of the Needham Senior Center Exploratory Committee, and the chair for the Needham Board of Health. Dedham High School is a public high school in Dedham, Massachusetts, United States, and a part of the Dedham Public Schools district. The school was founded in 1851 by the oldest public school system in the country. Needham ( ) is a town in Norfolk County, Massachusetts. A suburb of Boston, its population was 32,091 at the 2020 U.S. Census. It is home of Olin College. History Early settlement Needham was first settled in 1680 with the purchase of a tract of land measuring by from Chief Nehoiden for the sum of 10 pounds, of land, and 40 shillings worth of corn.
