Delta High School is a high school in Delta, Utah, United States. Athletics Delta High is known for its mascot, the Rabbit, and for its state record of 34 state wrestling championships. Its colors are red and white. It competes in 3A, Region 15. The Delta Palladium on the Delta High campus is a well-known high school gymnasium in Utah. The student section was nicknamed "The Rabbit Pack" in 2015. Delta High School enjoys a heated rivalry with the neighboring Millard High School of Fillmore, Utah. Delta, Utah
Delta is the largest city in Millard County, Utah, Millard County, Utah, United States. It is located in the northeastern area of Millard County along the Sevier River and is surrounded by farmland. The population was 3,622 at the 2020 United States Census, 2020 census. History Delta was originally a railroad switch called Aiken. In 1905 Aiken was renamed Melville when Millard County began plans to set up irrigation and a dam. People purchased land for 50 cents an acre as long as they agreed to develop a 40-acre lot. The name was changed again because of the similarities between Melville and Millville, another town in Utah. The name was changed on 12 May 1908 to Burtner. The name was finally changed to Delta on May 11, 1911. The name was chosen as the area was a delta of the Sevier River. Fillmore, Utah
Fillmore is a city and the county seat of Millard County, Utah, United States. The population was 2,592 at the 2020 United States Census. It is named for the thirteenth U.S. President Millard Fillmore, who was in office when Millard County was created by the Utah Territorial legislature. Fillmore was the capital of the Utah Territory from 1851 to 1856, although the territorial legislature met in Fillmore only one term (1855). The original Utah Territorial Statehouse building still stands. History Fillmore, located near the geographic center of the territory, was originally built as the capital of Utah Territory. Water Polo
Water polo is a competitive sport, competitive team sport played in water between two teams of seven players each. The game consists of four quarters in which the teams attempt to score goals by throwing the water polo ball, ball into the opposing team's goal (sport), goal.
