Delilah Lobo
Delilah Michael Lobo (born 23 April 1977) is an Indian politician and businesswoman who currently serves as a member of the Goa Legislative Assembly, representing the Siolim Assembly constituency. Lobo won the Siolim constituency on the Indian National Congress ticket in the 2022 Goa Legislative Assembly election. She defeated four-time MLA Dayanand Mandrekar of the Bharatiya Janata Party by a margin of 1,727 votes. Early and personal life Delilah Michael Lobo was born on 23 April 1977 to Melchiades Vincent Lobo and Almira Lobo. She has been married to politician and businessman Michael Lobo. Candolim
Candolim is a census town in North Goa and is located in the Bardez taluka in the state of Goa, India. It is situated just south of Calangute Beach and North of Sinquerim. History During the late 16th century, Candolim became the first village to be entirely converted to Christianity in Bardez by the Franciscans. The present Christian identity of its villagers dates back to the conversion of Santu Sinay (Shenoy), a ''ganvkar'' ( Konkani: freeholder) who belonged to the nobility of his people. Vishwajit Pratapsingh Rane (born 23 March 1971) is an Indian politician and a cabinet Minister in the Government of Goa headed by Pramod Sawant. He is the son of Pratapsingh Raoji Rane who is a former Chief Minister of Goa and an incumbent Indian National Congress party MLA in the Goa Legislative Assembly. Michael Lobo
Michael Lobo (born 12 September 1953) is an Indian scientist, writer, and genealogist. He is the author of three self-published books on the Catholic community in Mangalore, India. Early life and education Michael Lobo was born in Mangalore, India to Maisie Lobo (''née'' Fernandes) and Camillo Lobo, both of Mangalorean Catholic descent. He belongs to the Bejai branch of the Lobo-Prabhu clan, that has its roots in the Makhale suburb of Kulshekar, Mangalore. Lobo's father was a British Army soldier who served during World War II. He studied at Montfort High School in Yercaud, Tamil Nadu, and graduated from St. Aloysius College.
