Delbert Cowsette
Delbert Ray Cowsette (born September 3, 1977) is an American former professional American football, football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) and Arena Football League (AFL). He is currently the defensive line coach for the Howard Bison football, Howard Bison. Cowsette was selected by the Washington Redskins in the seventh round of the 2000 NFL draft after playing college football for the Maryland Terrapins football, Maryland Terrapins. He played 32 games for the Redskins from 2001 to 2002. Cowsette was also a member of the Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Giants, and Chicago Bears of the NFL but did not appear in any games for any of those teams. He played for the Cologne Centurions (NFL Europe), Cologne Centurions of NFL Europe in 2005, and the New York Dragons and Philadelphia Soul of the AFL from 2006 to 2007. Virginia Destroyers
The Virginia Destroyers were a professional American football team based in Virginia Beach, Virginia. They began play in the United Football League (UFL) in the 2011 season. They played their home games at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. The team succeeded the Florida Tuskers, a charter UFL franchise based in Orlando, Florida, from 2009 to 2010. The Tuskers appeared in the first two UFL championship games, losing both to the Las Vegas Locomotives. A defensive tackle (DT) is a position in American football that typically lines up on the line of scrimmage, opposite one of the Guard (American football), offensive guards; however, he may also line up opposite one of the offensive Tackle (gridiron football position), tackles. A fumble in gridiron football occurs when a player who has possession and control of the ball loses it before being downed (tackled), scoring, or going out of bounds.
