Athletic Conference
An athletic conference is a collection of sports teams which play competitively against each other in a sports league. In many cases conferences are subdivided into smaller Division (sport), divisions, with the best teams competing at successively higher levels. Conferences often, but not always, include teams from a common geographic region. Sanford School is a co-educational private school in Hockessin, Delaware for students from preschool to high school. The school was founded by Sanford and Ellen Sawin as the '''Sunny Hills School''' on September 23, 1930. The school's name was changed to '''Sanford School in 1966. The Tatnall School
The Tatnall School is a private college-preparatory school in unincorporated New Castle County, Delaware; it has a Wilmington postal address and is adjacent to, but not in, the Greenville census-designated place. The school is for students from two years old through 12th grade. The school was founded as an all-girls school in 1930 by Frances Dorr Swift Tatnall at her home in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, and moved to its current location in 1952. Wilmington Christian School (WCS) is a private, non-denominational college preparatory Christian school. Founded in 1946 in the city of Wilmington, Delaware, it has since consolidated its elementary and secondary schools to a campus in the suburban Hockessin area and enrolls over 400 students in Pre-K3 through 12th grade. Wilmington Friends School
Wilmington Friends School is a private Preschool- 12 school in unincorporated New Castle County, Delaware, United States, near Wilmington. It is affiliated with the Society of Friends, also known as the Quakers. History The school was founded in 1748 by members of the Wilmington Monthly Meeting of Friends. Of the school, Delaware historian Benjamin Ferris wrote in the 19th century, "Thousands of children have there received the first rudiments of an English education." In 1937, the Friends School moved from its original site to its current location in Alapocas, just outside the city of Wilmington. Westtown School is a Quaker, coeducational, college preparatory day and boarding school for students in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade, located in West Chester, Pennsylvania, United States, 20 miles west of Philadelphia.
