The All-Ireland Club Camogie Championship is a competition for club teams in the Irish women’s field sport of camogie. It is contested by the senior club champions of the leading counties and organised by An Cumann Camógaíochta. Trophy The trophy for the competition was donated by Bill Carroll, whose daughter, Ann was one of the outstanding players of the first decade of the competition, winning Championships with both St Patrick's, Glengoole and St Paul’s, Kilkenny. History The competition was established in 1964, six years before the equivalent competitions in hurling and Gaelic football. The All-Ireland Minor Camogie Championship is a competition for under-18 teams in the women's field sport of camogie. Counties compete for the Síghle Nic an Ultaigh Cup. There are graded competitions at Minor B and Minor C level. History The competition was established in 1974 for under-16 teams. In 2006 the age limit was raised from 16 to 18 and a separate under-16 championship established. Championships are also held at Minor B and Minor C level. Holy Faith Secondary School, Clontarf
Holy Faith Secondary School, Clontarf is a girls' voluntary second level school in Clontarf on the Northside of Dublin, Ireland. Founded by the Holy Faith Sisters in 1890, and originally providing both primary (mixed sex) and secondary education, it is since 2009 in the care of The Le Cheile Schools Trust. It is notable as one of the 25 schools (of around 800 in Ireland) with the highest progression to third level education. In 2020 it was ranked 1st in North Dublin, and 7th in Ireland, by the Sunday Times. History Four Holy Faith nuns were sent to establish a convent and private Catholic school for girls and boys in Clontarf in 1890, in response to an invitation from the parish priest. The convent was named for Our Lady Star of the Sea, and the attached school opened for teaching on 22 September that year, with three girls and one boy. The All-Ireland Colleges Camogie Championships are a range of Irish camogie tournaments played each year to determine the national champion secondary school or second level college at senior and junior level over a range of grades. Since 1969 these competitions have been administered by the Secondary Education committee of the Camogie Association. The record holders in the Senior 'A' competition are Loreto Secondary School, Kilkenny The current holders of the cup are Loreto Secondary School Kilkenny having defeated Ursuline Thurles in the 2024 final. Graded Competitions There are graded competitions for colleges at three different levels. In the 2011 All-Ireland Senior B final Grennan College, Thomastown (4-10) defeated St Louis, Ballymena (3-3) in Trim.
