In the United States, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) are organizational frameworks that seek to promote the fair treatment and full participation of all people, particularly groups who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination based on identity or disability. These three notions (diversity, equity, and inclusion) together represent "three closely linked values" which organizations seek to institutionalize through DEI frameworks. The concepts predate this terminology and other variations sometimes include terms such as belonging, justice, and accessibility. As such, frameworks such as inclusion and diversity (I&D), diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB), justice, equity, diversity and inclusion (JEDI or EDIJ), or diversity, equity, inclusion and accessibility (IDEA, DEIA or DEAI) exist. In the United Kingdom, the term equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is used in a similar way. ''Diversity'' refers to the presence of variety ...

Benedetto Dei
Benedetto Dei (1418–1492) was an Italian poet and historian. He spent the majority of his life in Florence, where he was an adjutant to the Medici and to the Portinari, a merchant house. Dei's most significant work was his chronicle of Florentine art, culture, and money, ''The Chronicle of the Years 1400 to 1500''. The book is an exhaustive classification of virtually everyone of note in the city at the time, and remains a key resource for research in Florentine history. He was also a significant member of several intellectual circles, and a number of his letters to and from prominent figures in Florence and throughout northern Italy survive. Dei also travelled extensively, drumming up trade for the Florentine mercantile houses. Besides business trips to England, Germany, and France, Dei spent time in the Middle East and Africa; he writes in his chronicle and in letters of visits to Beirut, Jerusalem, Carthage, Sfax, Oran, and Timbuktu Timbuktu ( ; ; Koyra Chiini: ; ) is a ...

Destroy Erase Improve
''Destroy Erase Improve'' is the second studio album by Swedish extreme metal band Meshuggah. It was released on 12 May 1995 by Nuclear Blast. This is the first studio album to feature rhythm guitarist Mårten Hagström and the final to feature bassist Peter Nordin, as he left the band during the supporting tour due to vertigo. Legacy Describing the record as "one of the 90's definitive metallic works", Kevin Stewart-Panko argues that ''Destroy Erase Improve's'' unique fusion of genres amounted to a new "watermark" for heavy metal upon its release. Metal critic Martin Popoff regards ''Destroy Erase Improve'' as the first clear demonstration of what would become the quintessential Meshuggah sound, wherein "stutter gun" riffs and "upset apple cart time signatures" are featured alongside "bone-breaking" percussion, an approach which resulted in considerable influence in the development of genres like mathcore and djent. Popoff suggests that ''Destroy Erase Improve'' is the clear lin ...

Doofenshmirtz is an incompetent, purportedly "evil" scientist intent on conquering the "entire Tri-State Area" by creating obscure but nefarious inventions. Doofenshmirtz appears in several merchandise pieces, including a book series and a video game.
