Defiant Records
Defiant Records is a joint venture record label formed in 2023 between Warner Records and Steven "Steve-O" Carless, President of A&R at Warner Records. It focuses on genres such as hip-hop, R&B soul, dancehall, jersey club and drill. The label was launched with Warner in September 2023 by Carless, an award winning executive who was previously worked at Atlantic Records, Def Jam Recordings, Republic Records, and Uptown Records. He has worked on projects with artists Pusha-T, Big Sean, YG, 2 Chainz, Nipsey Hussle, and Polo G Taurus Tremani Bartlett (born January 6, 1999), known professionally as Polo G, is an American rapper. He rose to prominence with his singles " Finer Things" and " Pop Out" (featuring Lil Tjay). His debut album '' Die a Legend'' (2019) peaked a .... Tauheed K. Epps (born September 12, 1977), known professionally as 2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boi), is an American rapper and actor. Born and raised in College Park, Georgia, he gained recognition as one-half of the Southern hip-hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside hometown rapper Earl "Dolla Boy" Conyers. The duo signed with fellow Georgia-based rapper Ludacris' Disturbing tha Peace label and became best known for their 2007 debut single " Duffle Bag Boy" (featuring Lil Wayne). Hip-hop or hip hop (originally disco rap) is a popular music genre that emerged in the early 1970s from the African-American community of New York City. Chalim Perry (born April 8, 2003), professionally known as Sha EK (Sha Everything Killed/Killer), is an American rapper from the Bronx, New York. He is signed to Warner Music and Defiant Records. He released his major label debut mixtape, ''Face of the What'', on September 2, 2022. Early life Chalim Perry was born and raised in The Bronx, New York. He grew up in the Melrose neighborhood of the South Bronx with Honduran parents. At age 15, he suffered a gunshot wound, which prompted him to start drill rapping. He is half-brothers with rapper Pj Glizzy. Perry and rapper Lil Tjay were childhood friends. According to Perry, Lil Tjay supported his rap career early on by reposting his music.
