Defiant Records is a joint venture record label formed in 2023 between Warner Records and Steven "Steve-O" Carless, President of A&R at Warner Records. It focuses on genres such as hip-hop, R&B soul, dancehall, jersey club and drill. The label was launched with Warner in September 2023 by Carless, an award winning executive who was previously worked at Atlantic Records, Def Jam Recordings, Republic Records, and Uptown Records. Tauheed K. Epps (born September 12, 1977), known professionally as 2 Chainz (formerly Tity Boi), is an American rapper and actor. Born and raised in College Park, Georgia, he gained recognition as one-half of the Southern hip-hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside hometown rapper Earl "Dolla Boy" Conyers. Chalim Perry (born April 8, 2003), professionally known as Sha EK (Sha Everything Killed/Killer), is an American rapper from the Bronx, New York. He is signed to Warner Music and Defiant Records. He released his major label debut mixtape, ''Face of the What'', on September 2, 2022. Early life Chalim Perry was born and raised in The Bronx, New York.
