Deepak Kumar Mondal (born 12 October 1979) is an Indian former professional footballer who played as a centre-back. A graduate of the Tata Football Academy, An Arjuna Award winner, he was one of India's most prominent right backs for over a decade, earning 47 caps with the India national team. Deepak Tripathi, (born 1951) is a British historian of Indian origin with particular reference to South Asia, the Middle East, the Cold War, and the United States in the post-Soviet world. Life and career Tripathi's grandfather, Pandit Vishwambhar Dayal Tripathi, was a leader in India's independence movement, Member of the Constituent Assembly, and later of the Indian Parliament. Deepak Obhrai (July 5, 1950 – August 2, 2019) was a Tanzanian-born Canadian politician, representing the riding of Calgary East (until 2015) and Forest Lawn (from 2015) for the Reform Party of Canada and then the Conservative Party of Canada from 1997 until he died in 2019.
