Deep South Conference
The Deep South Conference (DSC) was an National Collegiate Athletic Association, NCAA NCAA Division II, Division II men's college lacrosse, lacrosse-only college athletic conference that operated in the Southeastern United States. It was founded in 1993 in advance of the 1994 NCAA lacrosse season, and expanded over time to as many as 10 schools. The conference dissolved after the 2013 lacrosse season. History The conference began in 1994 as the Deep South League with five inaugural members Catawba College, Catawba, Greensboro College, Greensboro, Limestone College, Limestone, Pfeiffer University, Pfeiffer, and Virginia Tech. In 1995 Greensboro and Virginia Tech left the conference and it added St. Andrews Presbyterian College, St. Andrews. Belmont Abbey College
Belmont Abbey College is a private, Catholic liberal arts college in Belmont, North Carolina. It was founded in 1876 by the Benedictine monks of Belmont Abbey. Florida Tech Panthers
The Florida Tech Panthers are the athletic teams that represent the Florida Institute of Technology, located in Melbourne, Florida, in intercollegiate athletics at the Division II level of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), competing in the Sunshine State Conference. Sports currently offered by the program include baseball, softball, women's volleyball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's lacrosse, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's swimming. Florida Southern Moccasins
The Florida Southern Moccasins (also shortened to Florida Southern Mocs) are the athletic teams that represent Florida Southern College, located in Lakeland, Florida, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Moccasins compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference in 17 varsity sports. Florida Southern has been a member of the conference since its founding in 1975.
