Deep (EP)
''Deep'' is the first extended play by South Korean singer Hyoyeon. The extended play was released by SM Entertainment and its sublabel ScreaM Records on May 16, 2022, and contains seven tracks, including standalone singles released from 2018 to 2021, and the lead single of the same name. Background and release On May 2, 2022, SM Entertainment announced Hyoyeon will be releasing her first extended play titled ''Deep'' on May 16. On May 7, the promotional schedule was released. On May 15, the music video teaser for lead single "Deep" was released. The extended play alongside the music video was released on May 16. Hyoyeon
Kim Hyo-yeon (; born September 22, 1989), known professionally as Hyoyeon or DJ Hyo, is a South Korean singer, dancer, and DJ. She debuted as a member of the girl group Girls' Generation in August 2007, which went on to become one of the best-selling artists in South Korea and one of the most widely known K-pop groups worldwide. She has since participated in other SM Entertainment projects, including Oh!GG, Girls' Generation-Oh!GG and Got the Beat. Jo Yoon-kyung () is a South Korean lyricist and writer. She has written primarily for SM Entertainment artists such as BoA, Girls' Generation, Shinee, Exo, NCT, Red Velvet, and Aespa. In 2017, she won Lyricist of the Year at the Gaon Chart Music Awards. Jo is known for her "fairy tale" lyrics. The Circle Chart (), previously known as the Gaon Music Chart or the Gaon Chart (), tabulates the relative weekly popularity of songs and albums in South Korea. Founded in 2010, it is produced by the Korea Music Content Association and sponsored by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
