James Michael Dedrick (born April 4, 1968) is an Americans, American former professional baseball player. A pitcher, Dedrick played for the Baltimore Orioles of Major League Baseball (MLB) in . Dedrick was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the 33rd round of the 1990 Major League Baseball draft, 1990 MLB draft. He pitched in six games in 1995, striking out 3 and walking 6 guys in 7 and 2/3 innings. Dedrick attended Huntington Beach High School and later Vanguard University of Southern California, Southern California College. After his playing days, Dedrick worked briefly for Bioforce Baseball academy in Beaverton, Oregon before becoming a scout for the Arizona Diamondbacks. Lyle "Rusty" Dedrick (12 July 1918 – 25 December 2009) was an American swing and bebop jazz trumpeter and composer born in Delevan, New York, probably better known for his work with Bill Borden, Dick Stabile, Red Norvo, Ray McKinley and Claude Thornhill, among others. In 1971, Dedrick joined the faculty of the Manhattan School of Music, later becoming director of jazz studies. He was the uncle of the members of the sunshine pop group The Free Design. Zadoc Pratt Dederick, named after inventor Zadock Pratt, was an American machinist, inventor, and patent attorney. In 1868, at the age of 22, Dederick, along with a machinist Isaac Grass, who was possibly 15–16 years old, created a steam-powered humanlike robot designed to pull a cart after six years of work. Nicknamed Daniel after Daniel Lambert by workmen hired by Dederick, the invention was patented on March 24, 1868, as patent 75874, and operated through a system of levers and cranks, attached to steam-powered pistons and a boiler. The original prototype cost $2,000 and was built in Newark, New Jersey. Plans to produce it for $300 never went through, making this an example of an early development in steam power that was abandoned. Dedrick Allen Dodge (born June 14, 1967) is an American former professional football player who was a safety for eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) from 1991 to 1998. He played college football for the Florida State Seminoles. Dodge is a two-time Super Bowl champion. He played in Super Bowl XXIX for the San Francisco 49ers and in Super Bowl XXXII for the Denver Broncos. He also played for the London Monarchs in the inaugural season of the World League of American Football (WLAF); London won the first World Bowl that year, meaning that Dodge has three pro football championship rings. Dedrick Epps (born June 19, 1988) is an American former professional football tight end. He was selected by the San Diego Chargers in the seventh round of the 2010 NFL draft. He played college football for the University of Miami. He was also a member of the Miami Dolphins, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears, and New York Jets.
