Polde Bibič
Polde Bibič (3 February 1933 – 13 July 2012) was a Slovenian stage and film actor, a writer, and an academic professor, best known for his role in the film ''Flowers in Autumn'' and his work in theater, Bibič was a recipient of several top awards in the field of arts in Slovenia. Life Bibič was born in Maribor. He attended the secondary school in the town and then studied stage plays in Ljubljana under Vida Juvan. He finished his studies in 1961. He first appeared in the film ''Moments of Decision'' (''Trenutki odločitve''; 1955), directed by František Čap. Later, he worked in the Ljubljana Drama Theatre, where he was also the director from 1977 until 1981. He was a professor of theatre at the Ljubljana Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television. He died aged 79 in Ljubljana. Matjaž Klopčič
Matjaž Klopčič (4 December 1934 – 15 December 2007) was a Slovenian film director and screenwriter. He directed 28 films between 1959 and 2005. His film ''Heritage'' ( sl, Dediščina) was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 1985 Cannes Film Festival. Many of his films starred Polde Bibič. He was the son of the poet Mile Klopčič, and the nephew of the Communist activist and historian France Klopčič. The 38th Cannes Film Festival was held from 8 to 20 May 1985. The Palme d'Or went to the ''When Father Was Away on Business'' by Emir Kusturica. The festival opened with ''Witness'', directed by Peter Weir and closed with '' The Emerald Forest'', directed by John Boorman. Radko Polič
Radko Polič (18 August 1942 – 15 September 2022) was a Slovenian theatre, television and film actor. Biography Born in Črnomelj, Polič's family moved to Belgrade in 1945 and then to West Berlin in 1949 before returning to Slovenia and settling in Ljubljana in 1954. He started acting in the early 1960s and during his career spanning over four decades, he played in over 150 theatre and film productions. He starred in stage productions all around Slovenia and appeared in a number of Yugoslav feature films. Polič won numerous awards for his work, including the Golden Arena for Best Actor at the 1976 Pula Film Festival and the Best Actor award at the 10th Moscow International Film Festival for his role in Igor Pretnar's film ''Idealist'', and the Prešeren Award for Life Achievement in 2007. Milena Zupančič (born 18 December 1946) is a Slovenian actress. Biography Raised by a single mother, Zupančič finished high school in her hometown of Jesenice. Majda Potokar (1 March 1930 – 25 April 2001) was a Slovenian film and theatre actress. Daughter of actor Lojze Potokar, she graduated in 1952 from the Ljubljana Theatre, Radio, Film and Television Academy. Before graduation she appeared in her first role in the 1948 film ''On Our Own Land'', the first ever Slovenian feature film directed by France Štiglic. Potokar was member of the Ljubljana National Drama Theatre ensemble during her entire career from late 1952 to 1990.
