Deddy Mizwar
Deddy Mizwar (born 5 March 1955) is an Indonesian actor, director, and politician born of an Indo ( Dutch- Betawi) father and Betawi- Bugis mother. He is the Chairman of Indonesia's National Film Advisory Board (''Badan Pertimbangan Perfilman Nasional'') and former Vice Governor of West Java. He also ran for governorship of the province in the 2018 election. His 2010 film '' How Funny (This Country Is)'' was selected as the Indonesian entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 83rd Academy Awards, but it didn't make the final shortlist. Bugis
The Bugis people, also known as Buginese, are an Austronesian ethnic groupthe most numerous of the three major linguistic and ethnic groups of South Sulawesi (the others being Makassarese and Torajan), in the south-western province of Sulawesi, third-largest island of Indonesia. The Bugis in 1605 converted to Islam from Animism. Although the majority of Bugis are Muslim, a small minority adhere to Christianity as well as a pre-Islamic indigenous belief called ''Tolotang''. ''Lorong Waktu'' (literally translated as ''The Time Passage'') is an Indonesian Islamic religious science fiction television series created by Deddy Mizwar and directed by Abdul Kadir, Aldisar Syafar and Deddy Mizwar himself with scenario written by Wahyu H.S.
