Deconstruction (Deconstruction Album)
''Deconstruction'' is the only album by the band of the same name, released in 1994. It was released by Rick Rubin's label American Recordings and charted at number 31 on the ''Billboard'' Heatseekers album chart. Deconstruction disbanded shortly after the release of the album, with Eric Avery forming the band Polar Bear and Dave Navarro joining Red Hot Chili Peppers. The pair would later reunite as bandmates in Jane's Addiction in 2008. Background Deconstruction was formed following the breakup of Jane's Addiction in 1991 by bassist Eric Avery and guitarist Dave Navarro, along with drummer Michael Murphy. In his biography, Navarro described the band as "more of an artistic experiment than anything else." Every track on ''Deconstruction'' with the exception of "L.A. Polar Bear (American Band)
Polar Bear was an American alternative rock band that was active in the late 1990s, formed and led by bassist Eric Avery. Gibson Jerome Haynes (born September 30, 1957) is an American musician, radio personality, painter, author and the lead singer of the band Butthole Surfers. Early life and career Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, Gibby Haynes is the son of actor Jerry Haynes, best known as Dallas-based children's TV host " Mr. Peppermint," and Doris Haynes. The Chantays, sometimes billed as Chantay's, is an American surf rock band formed in Orange County, California. They are known for their 1963 hit instrumental "Pipeline". Jane's Addiction was an American Rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985. David Michael Navarro (born June 7, 1967) is an American guitarist. He is best known as a member of the rock band Jane's Addiction, with whom he has recorded four studio albums. Between 1993 and 1998, Navarro was the guitarist of Red Hot Chili Peppers, recording one studio album, ''One Hot Minute'' (1995), before departing. He has also released one solo album, ''Trust No One (Dave Navarro album), Trust No One'' (2001). Eric Adam Avery (born April 25, 1965) is an American musician. He is best known as the founding bass guitarist and co-songwriter of the alternative rock band Jane's Addiction, with whom he has recorded two studio albums.
