Declan Edge
Declan John Edge (born 18 September 1965 in Malacca Town, Malaysia) is a former professional footballer who is the current manager of Swedish club Torslanda IK. Born in Malaysia to English parents, Edge represented the New Zealand national football team in the 1980s and 1990s. Edge is considered one of the premier developers of footballing talent in New Zealand, acting as technical director for the Olé Football Academy and developing players such as Ryan Thomas and Tyler Boyd. Playing career International career Edge made his full All Whites debut as a substitute in a 5–0 win over Fiji on 3 June 1985 and ended his international playing career with 26 A-international caps and 1 goal to his credit, his final cap an appearance in a 0–2 loss to England on 8 June 1991. Ryan Thomas (footballer)
Ryan Jared Thomas (born 20 December 1994) is a New Zealand professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for PEC Zwolle in the Eerste divisie and the New Zealand national team. Thomas played for various clubs across the Waikato region of New Zealand, before signing professional terms with Eredivisie club PEC Zwolle in 2013. Since then, Thomas has spent his footballing career in the Netherlands, signing for reigning champions PSV Eindhoven in 2018. Thomas is additionally a regular for the New Zealand national team, featuring in the 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. Jesse Marshall Thompson Edge (born 26 February 1995) is an amateur New Zealand football player who plays in the Swedish amateur Division 1 Norra for IFK Berga. Besides New Zealand, he has played in Sweden, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and Italy mainly as an amateur. Club career He made his professional debut in the Eerste Divisie for Achilles '29 on 20 January 2017 in a game against NAC Breda. He then moved in 2018 to the professional club Zeleziarne Podbrezova in the Slovakian Fortuna Liga. Edge left Slovakia in August 2019 after he didn't receive his salary. He then returned to the Netherlands and went on a trial with DFS, before signing with the club at the end of the month. Melville United AFC is an amateur football club in Melville, Hamilton, New Zealand. It competes in the Northern League. History The club was formed in 1996 from the merger of Melville AFC (founded 1972) and Waikato United (founded 1988). Tauranga City AFC is a football club based in Tauranga, New Zealand. The men's and women's teams currently both compete in the NRFL Championship. Club history Tauranga City AFC was formed in 1964, in 2000 they changed their name to Tauranga City United when Mt Maunganui AFC folded and the Tauranga City Council relocated the club to the formers ground at Links Avenue, Mt Maunganui.
