Debenham is a village and civil parish located north of Ipswich in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk, England.OS Explorer map 211: Bury St.Edmunds and Stowmarket Scale: 1:25 000. History In 1086, Debenham was a comparatively large village of 69 households in the hundred of Claydon. In 1991, Prince Alexandre of Belgium was married in the village, however the marriage was kept a secret until 1998. At the 2001 census the parish population was recorded as 1,728 increasing to 2,210 at the 2011 census though including the parishes of Aspall and Winston. It is currently estimated to be 2,274. In November 2020, filming on the thriller movie ''Confession'' started at Debenham Church. The film stars Colm Meaney. St Mary's Arts Exhibition started in 1976 and runs each year during the summer. Stowmarket ( ) is a market town and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk, England,OS Explorer map 211: Bury St.Edmunds and Stowmarket Scale: 1:25 000. Debenham High School
Debenham High Schools is a secondary school located in the village of Debenham in Suffolk, United Kingdom, UK. The school accepts students who are between 11 and 16 years old and live in the catchment. Any spare places are then allocated to students outside of the catchment. The school is currently headed by Simon Martin after Julia Upton became the new Headteacher of Kesgrave High School in September 2020. Winston, Suffolk
Winston is a village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk in eastern England. Located around east of Stowmarket, the 2011 Census showed that the population of the parish of Winston is 159. The parish also contains the settlements of Winston Green and Fenn Street. There is a church and an old school room, and every year there is a Winston Village Fete. A lot of the village of Winston is based around 14th Century Church, with multiple 16th Century cottages and farmhouses along church lane, showing the villages agricultural past, the area of Winston is still agricultural based with farms and fields all over the parish. Aspall is a village and civil parish in the Mid Suffolk district of Suffolk, England. According to the 2001 census it had a population of 52, and estimated population of 60 in 2005. The village is about north of Ipswich, and south of Diss. The Domesday Book records the population of Aspall in 1086 to be 24 households made up of 5 freemen and 19 smallholders along with 60 pigs, 24 sheep, and 13 cattle. The lands that made up the village were held by Odo of Bayeux, Ranulf Peverel, Robert Malet. Aspall Cyder is brewed here by the Chevalliers of Aspall Hall. Aspall Hall is one of four moated houses located within a mile - the others being Aspall House, Moat Farm, and Kenton Hall at Kenton, Suffolk.
