Rohit Bal
Rohit Bal (8 May 1961 – 1 November 2024) was an Indian fashion designer, known for his designs catering to both men and women. He began his career in 1986, founding Orchid Oversea Pvt. Ltd with his brother, and debuted his independent collection in 1990. Bal's work includes collaborations with Khadi Gram Udyog and designing costumes for the popular show ''Kaun Banega Crorepati''. Early life and education Rohit Bal was born on 8 May 1961 in the city of Srinagar, in the Kashmir Valley of the erstwhile Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir (state), Jammu and Kashmir, into a Kashmiri Pandit family. Fay Surtees Marles (née Pearce; 3 January 1926 – 1 November 2024) was an Australian public servant. She served as Victorian Commissioner of Equal Opportunity from 1977 to 1987 and Chancellor of the University of Melbourne from 2001 to 2004. Early life Marles was born Fay Pearce in Melbourne on 3 January 1926. She was the second of three children born to Jane Victoria () and Percy William Pearce; an older sibling died as an infant. Faye Leung (born Leong Fuell Chew; 27 May 1932 – 1 November 2024) was a Canadian businesswoman, best known for her involvement in the scandal that brought down the British Columbia government of Bill Vander Zalm in 1991 surrounding the sale of Fantasy Gardens. Raised in Vancouver and Victoria Chinatowns, she and her husband Dean were credited with helping to "prevent the destruction of Chinatown when they opposed a freeway going through the historic district." New Jersey General Assembly
The New Jersey General Assembly is the lower house of the New Jersey Legislature. Since the election of 1967 (1968 session), the Assembly has consisted of 80 members. Two members are elected from each of New Jersey's 40 legislative districts for a term of two years, each representing districts with average populations of 232,225 (2020 figures), with deviation in each district not exceeding 3.21% above and below that average. Garabed "Chuck" Haytaian (January 28, 1938 – November 1, 2024) was an American Republican Party politician, who was the Speaker of the New Jersey General Assembly during the 'tax revolt' of the James Florio – Christine Todd Whitman era. Guruprasad (2 November 1972 – October 2024) was an Indian film director and actor in the Kannada film industry. His debut as a director was the 2006 film which became a cult hit and his second film as a director is . Both films did receive positive reviews and were considered for many award categories. He was known for portraying satire in a realistic way on screen. Guruprasad was found dead by a suspected suicide by hanging at his home in Madanayakanahalli, Bangalore, on 3 November 2024.
