'' Space: 1999'', a British science-fiction television series, ran for 48 episodes broadcast between 1975 and 1977. The first series (or season, often referred to as Year One) of 24 episodes began transmission in 1975, though production of the first episode began in 1973. In addition, a number of compilation films have been produced using material from multiple episodes, some containing additional footage. A brief, semi-official series denouement was filmed for exhibition at the Breakaway 1999 fan convention, held in Los Angeles, California in September 1999. Christopher Penfold (9 March 1941 – 29 July 2024) was a British scriptwriter and editor. Life and career Penfold was born in Bristol, England on 9 March 1941, to Leonard and Kathleen Penfold. His father was a local vicar, and his mother worked as a lab technician. "The Full Circle" is the fifteenth episode of the first season of '' Space: 1999''. The screenplay was written by Jesse Lasky, Jnr and Pat Silver; the director was Bob Kellett. The final shooting script is dated 17 September 1974. Live-action filming took place Tuesday 24 September 1974 through Tuesday 8 October 1974. Plot An Eagle crew fail to return from a survey mission to a forest planet codenamed "Retha" (an anagram for Earth). The ship is flown back to Moonbase Alpha by remote control. Antimatter
In modern physics, antimatter is defined as matter composed of the antiparticles (or "partners") of the corresponding subatomic particle, particles in "ordinary" matter, and can be thought of as matter with reversed charge and parity, or going backward in time (see CPT symmetry). Art Wallace was an American television writer best known for his work on the gothic soap opera ''Dark Shadows''. He began work in television in the 1940s, on the anthology series '' Studio One'' and '' Kraft Television Theater''. Over the years, Wallace wrote for '' Tom Corbett, Space Cadet'', '' Combat!'', ''Star Trek'', and many other shows. The teleplay on which Dark Shadows was based was called "The House" and was an episode of the anthology series '' Goodyear Playhouse'' in 1957. When Dan Curtis had the idea for ''Dark Shadows'', he offered the job of producer to Art Wallace, who declined the job. A black hole is a massive, compact astronomical object so dense that its gravity prevents anything from escaping, even light.
