Dean Harrison
Dean Harrison (born 24 January 1989) is an English professional motorcycle racer. He has won 3 Isle of Man TT Races, and has 26 podium finishes as of July 2023. Harrison also competes in the Southern 100, Oliver's Mount, North West 200, and Ulster GP. Racing career Dean Harrison was 18 years old when he began motorcycle racing in his hometown, Bradford. Harrison has won the Isle of Man TT 3 times. These were the Lightweight TT in 2014, the Supersport TT in 2018, and the Senior TT in 2019. His best lap was 134.9 mph, currently the second fastest ever. He has had 16 podium finishes to date. He also has earned 4 Classic TT wins between 2014 and 2019. He currently hold the Superbike TT record of 16:50.384, set in 2018 with his Kawasaki ZX 10R. The Isle of Man TT or Tourist Trophy races are an annual motorcycle racing event run on the Isle of Man in May/June of most years since its inaugural race in 1907 Isle of Man TT, 1907. The Southern 100 is a motorcycle road racing event held on the Isle of Man in July of each year. The event was first held in 1955, with three races for different classes of solo motorcycles; the 2015 calendar included twelve races for various classes. Oliver's Mount
Oliver's Mount is an area of high ground overlooking Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. It offers views over the town, a tribute monument to the war dead, camping and caravanning at selected times of the year, 10 football pitches, 1 rugby league pitch, in the past a small school, and a cafe, but may be primarily known for its motorcycle races. Oliver's Mount first held a motorcycle race in 1946, and continues to hold motorcycle circuit racing today, and also holds car rally and car hill-climb events. Cars have raced here twice, in 1955 and 1956. In 2016 Oliver's Mount was the summit for the final classified climb on the third stage of the Tour de Yorkshire cycle race. The International North West 200 is a Northern Irish motorsport event established in 1929 for road racing motorcycles held on a street circuit known as ''the Triangle'' between the towns of Portstewart, Coleraine and Portrush in Causeway Coast and Glens. Ulster Grand Prix
The Ulster Grand Prix is a motorcycle race that takes place on the Dundrod Circuit made up entirely of closed-off public roads near Belfast, Northern Ireland. The first races took place in 1922 and in 1935 and 1948 the Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme gave it the title ''Grand Prix d'Europe''. The Ulster Grand Prix was included as one of the races in the inaugural 1949 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season (now MotoGP), a place it held until 1971.
