Dean Galea
Dean Galea (born 11 January 1985) is an Australian Football player. He won the Jim 'Frosty' Miller Medal as the leading goal-kicker in the Victorian Football League in 2012 and 2013, kicking 65 and 55 goals in the respective home and away seasons, when he played with Port Melbourne. Galea, in his first year of senior football, played for Spotswood in the WRFL, and won the Premier division goalkicking award with 82 goals in 2004. Galea then moved to play with Williamstown Football Club for 2005 and 2006. He played in a Seconds premiership with Williamstown in 2005 and finished in equal third place in the Seconds best and fairest award that same year. In 2007 he spent a season with West Adelaide in the SANFL where he kicked 30 goals in 15 senior games. He was back at Williamstown in 2008 but was frustrated by the clubs alignment because he would be dropped when a listed AFL player returned from injury. Australian football, also called Australian rules football or Aussie rules, or more simply football or footy, is a contact sport played between two teams of 18 players on an oval field, often a modified cricket ground. Keilor Football Club
The Keilor Football Club, nicknamed the Blues, is an Australian rules football club located in Keilor, Victoria, north west of Melbourne. The club originated in 1877, formed at a general meeting at the Waggoner's Arms Hotel. In 1926, the club became a founding member of the Keilor and Broadmeadows Football League, winning premierships in 1926 and 1928. The Essendon District Football League (EDFL) is a professional Australian rules football league competition based in Essendon, Victoria, consisting of teams based in the north-west suburbs of Melbourne. Founded in 1930, the men's competition consists of three leagues: Premier Division, Division 1 and Division 2, with 10 clubs in the Premier Division and Division 1 nine in Division 2. Promotion and relegation between these divisions occurs, with the lowest-placed clubs in the Premier Division and Division 1 being relegated at the end of each season.
