Dead Line (Inside No. 9)
"Dead Line" is a Halloween special episode of the British black comedy anthology television programme '' Inside No. 9''. Written by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, the episode was directed by Barbara Wiltshire and was first broadcast live on 28 October 2018, on BBC Two. It stars Pemberton, Shearsmith and Stephanie Cole. The episode was filmed at Granada Studios, infamous for supposedly being haunted, and its many disasters. Plot Arthur Flitwick (Steve Pemberton) returns home with a phone he has found and wishes to give it back to the owner. He calls the last number dialled, Moira O'Keefe ( Stephanie Cole). She says it belongs to Elsie Mitchelle, and says to contact the local vicar, Reverend Neil ( Reece Shearsmith). At evening, Neil enters the house. Technical issues arise, and the characters are inaudible. After some time, an announcer (Becky Wright) apologizes for the issues with the sound, and the issues prove to be unfixable. Anthology Series
An anthology series is a radio, television, video game or film series that spans different genres and presents a different story and a different set of characters in each different episode, season, segment, or short. Reeson Wayne "Reece" Shearsmith (born 27 August 1969) is an English actor, writer and comedian. A Quiet Night In
"A Quiet Night In" is the second episode of the British dark comedy television anthology series '' Inside No. 9''. It first aired on 12 February 2014 on BBC Two. Written by Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, it stars the writers as a pair of hapless burglars attempting to break into the large, modernist house of a couple—played by Denis Lawson and Oona Chaplin—to steal a painting. Robert Christopher Nankeville, known professionally as Bobby Davro (born 13 September 1958), is an English actor and comedian. ''Most Haunted'' is a British paranormal reality television series. Following complaints, the broadcast regulator, Ofcom, ruled that it was an entertainment show, not a legitimate investigation into the paranormal, and "should not be taken seriously".
