Eefje de Visser (born 8 February 1986) is a Dutch singer-songwriter. She won the Grote Prijs van Nederland, a national competition for musicians, in 2009. She released her first album, ''De Koek'', in 2011, a breakthrough year in which she performed (accompanied by a four-man band called Most Unpleasant Men) at three major Dutch festivals: the Oerol Festival, Lowlands, and the Uitmarkt. On 14 December 2015 Eefje de Visser released a new song, "Scheef", on YouTube. The album ''Nachtlicht'' followed the next year. Johannes Theodoor (or Theodorus) de Visser (9 February 1857 – 14 April 1932) was a Dutch preacher and politician for the Christian Historical Union (CHU). He was the Netherlands' first Minister of Education. Early life and education De Visser was born in Utrecht on 9 February 1857. After attending grammar school, he went on to study theology in his hometown in 1874, at the age of seventeen. He received his doctorate from Josué Jean Philippe Valeton ''cum laude'' with a dissertation on ''De Daemonologie van het Oude Testament'' ('The Demonology of the Old Testament') on 27 May 1880. Career Manager After a career as a player for De Zeeuwen, RCH and Zeeland Sport, De Visser became involved in management. In 1957, he started as a youth and assistant manager at Sparta Rotterdam. In 1964, he took his first assignment as a head manager at DFC and became champion of the second division in his first year. In 1973, while manager of De Graafschap, he and his club (which included defender Guus Hiddink) were promoted to the Eredivisie. He subsequently became champion of the Eerste Divisie with NEC in 1975, and moved to the Molenbeek which had won the Belgian League the preceding season.
