Neil De Marchi (born 1938), is an Australian economist and historian of economic thought and is a professor at Duke University. De Marchi specializes in both teaching and research that pertains to the history of economic ideas and the history of markets, and also the functioning of markets with a specific focus on art markets. Matthew DeMarchi (born May 4, 1981) is an American-born Italy, Italian former professional ice hockey player who participated at the 2010 IIHF World Championship as a member of the Italy men's national ice hockey team. Playing career Amateur DeMarchi played amateur hockey in the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the North Iowa Huskies before attending the University of Minnesota where he played college hockey with the Minnesota Golden Gophers men's ice hockey team from 1999 - 2002. Professional On June 24, 2000, he was selected by New Jersey Devils in the 2nd round (57th overall) of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. De Marchi is a premium Italian sportswear manufacturer and one of the oldest known cycling clothing brands. Its date of founding goes back to a few months after the end of World War II in 1946. Its founder, Emilio De Marchi (1906–1992) was an athlete and manager for Bottecchia, a major professional cycling team of his time named after the great Italian cyclist Ottavio Bottecchia. De Marchi became instantly famous in the cycling world for the superior quality of the wool (Merino) used to produce cycling jerseys and cycling shorts. Suze DeMarchi (born 14 February 1964) is an Australian singer-songwriter, best known for fronting the band Baby Animals (1989–1996, 2007–present). Early life DeMarchi was born in Perth, Western Australia to Walter and Shirley DeMarchi and has three older siblings; her sister Denise is also a singer. Steven DeMarchi is a Canadian guitarist, backing vocalist and songwriter. He is best known as the co-founder and lead guitarist of the bands Sheriff (1979–1985) and Alias (1988–1991). Marco Antonio De Marchi (born 8 September 1966) is an Italian association football agent and former defender, who played as a centre-back. Career Born in Milan, De Marchi started his career with the Como youth system, and was successively sold to Serie C2 club Ospitaletto, where he made his professional debut. In 1987, he followed his head coach Luigi Maifredi at Serie B fallen giants Bologna, being protagonist of the team's promotion to the top flight and the successive campaign that led the ''rossoblu'' back into European football. In 1990, he followed Maifredi once again, joining Juventus. After an unimpressive debut season, he was successively loaned out to AS Roma for the 1991–92 season.
