Véronique Marie Alice Henriette De Keyser (born 23 March 1945 in Brussels) is a Belgian politician who served as a Member of the European Parliament from 2001 until 2014. She is a member of the Parti Socialiste, part of the Socialist Group De Keyser majored in Psychology at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (1968) and has a doctorate in work psychology (1974). Jérôme Dekeyser (born 15 December 1983) is a Belgian international field hockey player for Braxgata in Antwerp who is usually plays as an attacker. At the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed for the national team in the men's tournament; Belgium qualified for the 2008 Olympic tournament by coming third at the European Championship in Manchester. At this 2007 European Championship, Dekeyser gave Belgium the lead for the first time in their match against Germany by scoring the 3-2 from a penalty corner. In the first match for Belgium at the Summer Olympics in Beijing, against Spain, he scored again from a penalty corner. Belgium lost the game 4-2. Eventually the Belgian team finished ninth in Beijing. Giovanni Dekeyser (born 10 December 1976 in Bruges) is a Belgian football midfielder who currently plays for East Flanders lower league side K.F.C. Eeklo. He made his senior debut for Cercle Brugge in second division in a 1–1 draw against K.F.C. Lommel S.K., on 17 August 1996. Giovanni Dekeyser became Cercle Brugge top scorer in 2001 and was voted player of the year. He is currently an unrestricted free agent who most recently played with the Toronto Marlies in the American Hockey League (AHL). André Dekeijser (Brussel 1 August 1924 – 9 December 2013) was a Belgian contemporary sculptor known for his abstract and monumental work primarily in copper and bronze. Biography André Dekeijser lived in Port-Francqui (Ilebo/ Congo), from 1926 to 1929, before moving back to Belgium. He quickly developed his artistic talent and studied graphic arts at the Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts de Bruxelles. After the Second World War, he worked for several years in the ceramics workshop of Alexandre Geufanstein before heading off in search of his (deceased) father's legacy in the Congo in 1952. There, he worked at the Geographical Institute of the Belgian Congo (I.G.C.B.). During this period, he created his first sculptures which were exhibited in Kinshasa in 1957.
