Dag Frøland
Dag Frøland (16 September 1945 – 26 January 2010) was a Norwegian comedian, revue artist and singer, who was best known for his countless impersonations and variety shows in Oslo during the 1970s and 1980s. Early life Frøland was born in Volda in 1945, and grew up in Fredrikstad, living with his grandfather after his parents' divorce. During his childhood he also lived for some time in Aurdal and Oslo. He made his radio debut in 1952 at the age of seven, and four years later he released his first record. During his early teens he became an active writer, and at the age of 14 began writing for ''Aftenposten''. After completing his examen artium at Oslo Cathedral School, he began studying medicine, but soon dropped out to focus on a career in entertainment. Dag Ringsson
Dag Ringsson was a Norwegian chieftain from Oppland who participated in the Battle of Stiklestad during 1030 which resulted in the death of King Olaf II of Norway According to Snorri Sturluson, Dag Ringsson was a descendant of Harald Fairhair. His family had settled in Sweden, where Dag was a nobleman at the service of Swedish King Anund Jacob. In 1026, King Olaf II of Norway and King Anund Jacob had lost the Battle of the Helgeå. This left King Cnut the Great of Denmark as the dominant leader in Scandinavia. By 1029 the Norwegian nobles, seething with discontent, rallied round the invading King Cnut forcing Olaf to flee. During his exile, King Olaf stayed some time in Sweden in the province of Närke with Sigtrygg of Nerike. While in Sweden, King Olaf was able to recruit Dag and his manpower to his project of recapturing control of Norway. Dag Prawitz
Dag Prawitz (born 1936, Stockholm) is a Swedish philosopher and logician. He is best known for his work on proof theory and the foundations of natural deduction, and for his contributions to proof-theoretic semantics. Prawitz is a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, of the Royal Swedish Academy of Letters and Antiquity and the Royal Swedish Academy of Science. Dag Erik Pedersen
Dag Erik Pedersen (6 June 1959 – 3 June 2024) was a Norwegian road racing cyclist with a long career as professional. He won 3 stages in the Giro d'Italia and he came 4th in the Road race in the 1981 World Championship. He was a member of Birkenes IL, previously for Larvik SK and Grenland SK before he turned professional after the Worlds in September 1981. Pedersen won a total of 43 professional races in his 12 years in Italy and the Netherlands. He won the Norwegian National Road Race Championship in 1992. After he retired as a cyclist he began working for the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation where until his death he worked as an anchor. Dag Palovič (born 4 January 1975, in Bratislava) is a Slovak writer, TV presenter and former professional poker player known for being a member of PokerStars Team Pro between 2011 and 2013 due to achieving relative success on the international scene. Dag Alexander Olsen (born 9 September 1989) is a Norwegian professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Gjøvik-Lyn. Club career After finishing his graduation in Tottenham Hotspur's youth setup, Olsen signed with Valencia CF. He made his senior debuts with the reserves in the 2008–09 season, in Segunda División B. Olsen also appeared three times with the main team, starting in a 1–1 away draw against Al Ain FC and scoring twice vs Standard Liege. Dag Otto Lauritzen
Dag Otto Lauritzen (born 13 September 1956) is a Norwegian television personality and retired professional cyclist. At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles he won a bronze medal in the individual road race. He was the first Norwegian to win a stage of the Tour de France, which he did on Bastille Day in 1987 at Luz Ardiden. Over his career he rode the Tour de France eight times. Lauritzen began cycling to recuperate from a military parachuting injury, and switched careers from police officer to cyclist. Dag Olov Larsson (born 1960) is a Swedish politician and former member of the Riksdag, the national legislature.
