Dawnstar is a superheroine appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, primarily as a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th and 31st centuries. She was created by Paul Levitz and Mike Grell, and first appeared in ''Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes #226'' (April 1977). Dawnstar has made limited appearances in other media, primarily in association with the Legion. She is voiced by Laura Bailey in '' JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time'' and Cynthia Hamidi in the Tomorrowverse. Fictional character biography Dawnstar (her real name, she has no Legion code name) is from the planet Starhaven, a world colonized by Native Americans who were abducted from Earth by an unknown alien species and transformed into winged metahumans. Her name is derived from the appearance on Earth of the planet Venus, the "morning star", thus why she wears an eight-pointed star ornament on her forehead. The Legion of Super-Heroes is a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by DC Comics. Created by writer Otto Binder and artist Al Plastino, the Legion is a group of superpowered beings living in the 30th and 31st centuries of the , and first appeared in ''Adventure Comics'' #247 (April 1958). Initially, the team was closely associated with the original Superboy (Kal-El), Superboy character (Superman when he was a teenager), and was portrayed as a group of time travelers. Later, the Legion's origin and back story were fleshed out, and the group was given its own monthly comic. Eventually, Superboy was removed from the team altogether and appeared only as an occasional guest star. The team has undergone two major reboot (fiction), reboots during its run. Wildfire (Drake Burroughs)
Wildfire is a superhero appearing in DC Comics, primarily as a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 30th and 31st centuries. Created by Cary Bates and Dave Cockrum, the character debuted in ''Superboy (comic book), Superboy'' #195 (June 1973). Publication history Cockrum originally wanted to name the character Starfire, but was rejected because there were already plans to introduce a character named Starfire (Teen Titans), Starfire in the Teen Titans. Wildfire was immediately popular with readers. At that time, the editors of ''Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes'' held periodic elections in which readers could choose the Legion's leader. Soon after his introduction, Wildfire was elected to that post. In-story, Wildfire lost the election to Superboy (Kal-El), Superboy, but as no candidate had received a majority of the votes, the membership decided that the Legion needed a member who was available full-time rather than Superboy, who is a part-time member of the Legion. ...

''Legion of Super Heroes'' is an American animated television series produced by Warner Bros. Animation, adapted from the DC Comics series of the same name. It debuted on September 23, 2006, and centers on a young Superman's adventures in the 31st century, fighting alongside the eponymous group of superheroes. The show was produced by one of its main character designers James Tucker, a co-producer of the '' Justice League Unlimited'' series, for the Kids' WB line-up on The CW network. The series drew on the rich history of the Legion of Super-Heroes, taking inspiration from stories set during all time periods of the team's nearly 50-year history in comics.
