Dawn Laguens (born 1964) is the former executive vice president and chief brand officer of Planned Parenthood and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund. She is vice chair of LPAC, the LGBTQ+ social justice and women's equality super PAC. She is strategic advisor at Redshift Leadership and the Urvashi Vaid, Vaid Group. As of 2019, she is also the expert-in-residence at IDEO. Helen Prejean ( ; born April 21, 1939) is a Catholic religious sister and a leading American advocate for the abolition of the death penalty. She is known for her best-selling book '' Dead Man Walking'' (1993) based on her experiences with two convicts on death row for whom she served as spiritual adviser before their executions. In her book, she explored the effects of the death penalty on everyone involved. The book was adapted as a 1995 film of the same name, starring Susan Sarandon and Sean Penn. It was also adapted as an opera by Jake Heggie and Terrence McNally, first produced in 2000 by the San Francisco Opera. Ron Chisholm
Ron Chisholm (born September 30, 1948) is a Canadian politician. He represented the electoral districts of Guysborough-Port Hawkesbury and Guysborough-Sheet Harbour in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 1999 to 2009 as a member of the Progressive Conservatives. Born in 1948 at Goshen, Nova Scotia, Chisholm married Alberta McGrath. From 1969 to 1980, he was employed with Nova Scotia Power, as a machine operator.
