The George Davis House, is a house in Toronto, Ontario built in 1919 and designated as a Toronto Heritage Property on September 30, 2004. Walters-Davis House
The Walters-Davis House, at 429 E. Tugalo St. in Toccoa in Stephens County, Georgia, was built in 1906. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. It is a one-story late Victorian Eclectic-style house. It was deemed significant architecturally and for its association with Judge Ben Davis, who occupied the house in 1912, purchased it in 1915, and lived in it until his death. Davis was President of the Stephens County Bar Association for 20 years and also served as Recorder for the City of Toccoa and as Judge of City Police and Justice Courts. It was built by master builder E.L. Prater (1872–1950), who also built the NRHP-listed James B. Davis-Felton Plantation
The Davis-Felton Plantation, near Henderson in Houston County, Georgia, is a plantation that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. It is located northwest of Henderson on Felton Rd. The plantation was also known as Mossy Hill. Structures The listing on the National Register of Historic Places includes with six contributing buildings, four contributing structures, and six contributing sites. With The site's main house is a two-story Italianate style plantation house, with a three-story tower, which was built with the forced labor of enslaved people c. 1855. The property also includes a peach-packing plant built in the 1930s and several tenant houses. History The plantation was built for William Mayzck Davis (18201870), who moved to Georgia from South Carolina in the 1850s to establish the property as a cotton plantation.
