David Witts
David Peter S. Witts (born 30 June 1991) is a British actor and model from Southend-on-Sea, England, best known for his portrayal of Joey Branning in the BBC television soap opera ''EastEnders'', in which he appeared from 2012 to 2013. Early life Witts attended Southend High School for Boys, where he first discovered his passion for acting. For a number of years, he trained with the National Youth Music Theatre and the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain. Following a short period of working as a barman, Witts appeared in numerous theatre productions, including ''Wild Boyz'', ''The Wizard of Oz'' and ''Snow White'' during 2011 and 2012. Southend High School for Boys, also known by its initialism SHSB, is an 11–18 boys selective secondary Grammar schools in the United Kingdom, grammar school situated along Prittlewell Chase in Prittlewell, in the north-west of Southend-on-Sea, England. Curve, also known as Curve Theatre, is a theatre in Leicester, England, based in the cultural quarter in Leicester City Centre. Previously, it had been called Leicester Performing Arts Centre. It is adjacent to the Leicester Athena conference and banqueting centre. ''Unforgotten'' is a British crime drama television series, which initially aired on ITV on 8 October 2015. It was created and written by Chris Lang and directed by Andy Wilson. The programme follows a team of London detectives led by DCI Cassie Stuart ( Nicola Walker) (Series 1–4), DCI Jessie James ( Sinéad Keenan) (Series 5–6) and DI Sunny Khan (Sanjeev Bhaskar) as they solve cold cases of disappearance and murder.
